Editing, Paraphrasing, Summarising & Rewriting | Fee Schedule and payment options
The fees quoted below are based on the number of words, and apply to the editing services described. If you have additional specific needs, we will be pleased to send you a quotation, based on a 500 to 1000 word extract of your document.
Editing and Rewriting Fee Structure
All fees are quoted in Australian dollars - AU$.
Please subtract 10% from the published fee if you do not need a 'track changes' feature to view the exact changes made to your text.
Completion Period: Turnaround time for all service levels is approximately one (1) working day for every 1000 words. Please allow enough time for our editors to work on your document.
- Standard editing and paraphrasing services only.
$0.025 per word.
[$0.03 to $0.045 per word.] Sample needed
- Rewriting services, including advanced editing, paraphrasing and summarising for all documents, articles or text. Rewriting means changing words, sentences and whole paragraphs where necessary, to create unique and readable documents.
[$0.03 to $0.05 per word, depending on the extent of redacting requested.] Sample needed.
- Editing, redacting or proofreading services (specific or exclusive). Examples include, but are not limited to, to handbooks, trade manuals, white papers, web pages, text on packaging boxes and company profiles.
Fees are based on a one-page sample and your needs. Please send us an extract and tell us what you expect. We will usually respond within 48 hours.

Fee payment:
Fees are payable before delivery of your completed project. These fees include one additional review by our editors, if you are not satisfied with the initial work.
Your payment is fully protected.
For your security and
convenience, we recommend payment through PayPal, a secure online payment
service, either with available funds or through a credit card.
Please include sufficient details so we can contact you easily. When sending documents for proofreading and editing by email, please send them as an attachment with a .doc, .rtf or .docx extension. We can edit txt extensions, but will not be able to show you the changes made.
Our editors usually try to complete a proofreading, rewriting or editing assignment within five (5) working days. However, we may need more time for larger and more complex assignments.
